SIX WAYS TO MAKE SPACE

What shall we make today?

Spoon-friendly shapes, with room to breathe. Choose a pattern for your ingredient count.

SAME PORTIONS, TWO PICTURES

A new picture.
Still your portions.

Try two layouts side by side. A bigger painted area never adds to your measured amount.

These are placement plans. Weigh your ingredients separately.

A SMALL KITCHEN RITUAL

Less food fuss. More little rituals.

Three small steps from your screen to your kitchen.

01

Start with familiar food

Use a food already suitable for your dog. Enter the amount you have decided to use; the studio never infers a portion from body weight or painted area.

02

Make space for empty space

Broad islands, ribbons and petals are easier to spread with a spoon. A partly empty mat can be a finished design. Changing patterns never adds food.

03

Keep the imperfect result

A screen drawing is only a plan. Note what was easy to spread and what remained. Leftovers alone do not reveal a food preference.

Before, after, and the small things you noticed. Private on this browser.

Your ingredient notes and optional photos stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded by this tool. Browser cleanup can erase them; export a backup. Use the same browser and domain to find your records.

CARE BEFORE COLOR

A thoughtful palette starts with a label.

Check the whole product

Do not use xylitol (also called birch sugar), chocolate/cocoa, grapes/raisins, onion or garlic. The name of a food does not establish safety: sweeteners and other ingredients vary by product. Dairy is not suitable for every dog. If you suspect ingestion of a dangerous food, contact a veterinarian promptly.

Plan the whole day

This is a layout planner, not a diet calculator. Food taken from the daily ration belongs in that ration; extra treats must be considered alongside all other treats. Follow your veterinarian’s plan where one applies.

Stay, inspect, clean

Stay with your dog, especially if they chew the mat. Stop if the mat is damaged. Follow the specific mat’s instructions for washing, freezing and dishwasher use; not every mat supports the same methods.

THE ATELIER NOTES

A few things worth knowing.

Will changing the pattern change the grams?

No. Portions are entered by you and stay fixed when you rotate, switch patterns or swap areas. Drawn area never determines grams or calories.

Can I use just one ingredient?

Yes. Five patterns work with one ingredient. The two-tone patchwork requires two. Blank space is part of the design.

Can someone copy my dog’s serving size?

Pattern links contain only the layout, mat shape, rotation and area assignment. Ingredient names, amounts, photos and notes are excluded. The recipient enters their own details.

Are these tested feeding recipes?

No. These are original digital placement illustrations, not real feeding trials or nutritional recommendations. No pet behavior or medical benefit is promised.

Where are my pictures stored?

Optional photos are resized locally and stored with your journal in this browser. They do not sync between devices. You can remove individual records or export a JSON backup.
